Omega Restoration was referred to me by a friend who owns apartment buildings and has used their services to attend to damp areas that needed to be dried and then evaluated thereafter for mold. After the rain storms in LA, I had a significant amount of moisture in my crawl area. So, I contacted Omega to dry out that area to have someone else thereafter check for mold. I believe that the pricing for the job was fair and the owner and his assistant were extremely diligent in attending to the work and checking on the site. This was true even when they were not present to make sure that all machinery put in place was operating properly and not being a bother within the house, as the drying went on for several days. Thereafter, a drying clay was spread on the ground of the crawl space and after time was allowed for the clay to absorb any remaining moisture, humidity checks were made. Throughout the process, pictures were taken and humidity checks were made and shared with me to ensure that I understood what was happening and how the work was progressing. Recommendations were also made regarding aerating as much as possible the crawl space to keep it dry. I would certainly contact this business again if I needed this sort of help. Given the rains that we are now having regularly it seems, this may indeed occur.

We recently bought a home knowing it had some mold from a leaking water heater, moved in, had the water heater replaced and started searching for a mold remediation company. We had 5 different companies check out the damage in person and give us a quote. We went with Eddie and the team at Omega Restoration and are SO glad we did. He was clearly the most knowledgeable, honest, well priced, put us as ease and didn’t try to scare us or upsell us with special extras/unnecessary work the other companies did. Eddie absolutely knows what he’s doing. (He also seemed to know more than our plumber about the water heater - he pointed out how it was incorrectly installed and was right about that). We were horrified to find out the mold issue went all the way to our bedroom - much more damage than we realized - but relieved Eddie found it, took care of it, and was so thorough. I’m 9 months pregnant and having a new house with a mold issue is very stressful to deal with but Omega made the process as smooth and safe as possible.

I called Omega to come and inspect for mold after I experienced severe water intrusion into my home. Eddie arrived and inspected all areas and also inspected inside the ceiling. Eddie was meticulous in his work and took great care to clean up after cutting into the ceiling. Once his inspection was completed, everything was left beyond clean and tidy. He spent a great deal of time in my home, making sure his inspection was thorough. I was thrilled with Eddie's work and attention to detail with such a dangerous and invasive fungus. Omega Restoration is business you can trust. The owner, Eddie, gave us the estimate and explained the how and why of each requirement. They went right to work, keeping us updated on the progress, including many photos each step of the way. The team was respectful of our space, securing containments to keep mold and dust away from our living areas. They were always on time (amazing) and cleaned up at the end of each day. It was a somewhat complicated project and Eddie went above and beyond to make it a less confusing process. He is very knowledgeable about remediation but also general construction as well as finish work. They are good and honest people. We highly recommend their services!
